2 Transformative States of Mind That Create a Joyful and Abundant Reality
True power is the ability to change your perspective
“Did you know that 95% of who we are by the time we’re 35 years old is a memorized set of behaviors, emotional reactions, unconscious habits, hardwired attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions?” — Dr. Joe Dispenza
Throughout early childhood, we observe and absorb everything and everyone in our external reality.
“Any religion, any society, any culture, any education, they are all strategies to create personalities out of individuals.” —Osho
As we age, our developed personality relies on familiar emotions cultivated through past experiences.
We access these emotions by thinking in the past to avoid change and uncertainty.
Even if these thoughts bring us pain, fear, and limiting beliefs, we stick with them. Our attention becomes infatuated by them and … where our attention goes, our energy flows.
Our bodies break down and our reality sinks to the level of our fear-based thoughts.
You see, our brains don’t know the difference between what we imagine and what we experience.
If we allow our past problems or stressful environment to dictate our thoughts, we’re probably manifesting everything we don’t want in life. Physical illness. Empty relationships. Financial difficulties.
But we can use our brain’s lack of orientation to our advantage. We can become familiar with unconscious states of mind and reorient our thinking from past problems to a bright future.
1. Meditation and mindfulness
During meditation and mindfulness practices, we can calm our brain wave frequency from Beta (12.5-30 Hz) to Alpha (8 to 12 Hz). In this new relaxed state, our brain is still alert, but not actively processing external information.
Through observation of thoughts and feelings that arise from our subconscious mind, we become aware of mental habits that both lift and bring down our vibration.
Meditation using visualizations that increase energy and relax the mind puts us in a position to raise our vibrational frequency.
Picture this in your mind’s eye:
Vibrant energy enters your body with every inhale and circulates throughout with every exhale
Existential truth arrives through the top of your head and flies out through your 3rd eye to infinity
Everything and everybody you picture becomes a reflection of you (interconnectivity)
As we continue entering this meditative mind-state, we open ourselves up to new emotions, beliefs, and perspectives that change our behavior and benefit our lives.
2. Self-talk and conscious thoughts
If harmful habits and thought patterns are installed through observation and repetition, we can uninstall and replace them using the same strategy.
Remember, our brains don’t know the difference between imagination and reality.
By consciously repeating empowering thoughts, even when we feel unempowered, we can trick our brain into believing the version of reality we wish to instill.
Self-talk on:
Abundance → generates wealth
Gratitude → generates a constant state of appreciation
Love → generates joyful relationships
Empowerment → generates success
Let’s say we feel unhappy. The only way to change this feeling is to raise our vibration to attract a high-vibration feeling: happiness.
We can do this by using our imagination. By creating a version of ourselves that matches our desired outcome.
When the way we talk to ourselves shifts from critical and undeserving to empowering and confident, our reality shifts as well.
When we feel and believe in this change, our hands fill with incredible power.
Taking Responsibility and Making a Change
We don’t have to allow our past experiences or present environment dictate our thoughts, emotions, and physical health.
We can become aware of harmful habits and damaging thought patterns instilled in us from a young age. Through meditation and mindful living, we can gain this awareness, reflect on it without judgment, and decide to make a change.
Through continuous repetition of empowering self-talk, we can replace undesirable existing mental programs with new ones that bring us joy and motivation.
Our concentration, imagination, and willpower birth a new state of mind that shines a light on a reality we thought never existed.
A reality in which we’re filled with bubbling energy, envigorated by vitality, and constantly surprising ourselves with how prosperous and peaceful life can be.
“We are only limited by weakness of attention and poverty of imagination,” – Neville Goddard
